hello hello. okay so there was basically no updates last month... i wanted to update! cause i really dont want this website to become inactive.

first of all i deleted some of my old blogs. why? i felt like i was oversharing tbh. well its not even the oversharing really, its more that i was writing stuff while i was actively upset and feeling like shit. which.. is not good. i dont like doing that and im making it a rule for myself in the future that i wont do this anymore. if i do it, hit me over the head with a giant comically oversized hammer.

second of all... i think ive figured out my issue with motivation lately. for the website, ive made it so i feel the need to have every page on my website have its own unique coded page!! why did i do that...? i dont even know. i got overambitious i guess. so my solution is a new generated index page! which i also think will make the browsing experience a lot smoother. ofc ill still have pages like this blog where its a seperate layout. (speaking of which, i thought of sharing this livejournal blog layout as a f2u template. what do you think?) its taking a while bc im very perfectionist about these things, and also not very good with javascript. so figuring out the "insert element with javascript so every page has the same sidebar/header/footer" thing is confusing... BUT. last night i got it to work on a test page i made so...! this new index is what ill be working on.

in other unrelated news, my life is pretty nice right now. i think im the least mentally ill ive been in a long time which probably sounds really odd LOL. but genuinely, i dont feel depressed, my crazy ass moodswings are minimal, i enjoy doing things, im drawing a lot... etc etc. life is good? life is good. its finally getting less blisteringly hot outside which always makes me feel better. cant stand going outside and it feels like a sauna.

this year is so weird for video games for me lol. i spent the whole year basically playing NOTHING. (i mean i played some animal crossing, but that was basically it?) to going full GAMER BEAST MODE. ive played like 4 games in the past two months...

my medialog is nearly done so ill save my detailed thoughts for there, but i liked all these games honestly. pokemon and the hades sequel seem to be really controversial online aaand... for good reason. i had fun but they both definitely have some awful flaws. the grand bazaar remake is definitely my favorite of all of these. GODDAMN is it good. if you have any interest in farming games or the harvest moon/sos series in general, i implore you to pick it up. i know a lot of people consider stardew the "king" of farming games, but honestly i liked it more than stardew, and ive done like 3 stardew playthroughs.
