ok so basically i got a surge of motivation and made an xp desktop clone in one afternoon

although most of this is just xp.css doing the heavy lifting but i did make the layout. and the taskbar. so thats cool

idk if ill ever actually use this for anything though like i was thinking this could be a new layout but that would be sorta dumb wouldnd it

xp was the OS on my very first computer i owned, which was an old laptop my dad used for work... so its kinda sentimental to me

not to get too emo but i feel no matter how hard i try i cant actually express myself with my website (or my art in general lmao) the way i really want to and it makes me want to rip my hair out genuinely. and i think "why even update or put effort into my site if im not happy with it" but at the same time idk what would make me happy. srsly no clue. with my latest index layout i actually liked it when i was done with it! but now im looking at it like.. oh. that is hideous and i dont like or relate to it at all. can you be satisfied with anything you make ever AAAaaaaaaa i just want to redo everything again which is stupid when theres other things i could be doing instead of redoing my index for the 9000th time. sighghghjgjk
