UM..... so i totally overlooked screencaps today, theres just one picture... whoops. today i had a friend come over to my town for the first time :> we exchanged gifts and fruits, it was fun. the fanservers work surprisingly well! i also now have a two-story home, ive been grinding bug-catching and fishing like crazy. its actually pretty easy to make moolah in this game. check out my second floor in my house, im going for a retro/kid-ish look, but i barely have any furniture atm... itll be cool one day, i swear lol.
my villagers have been swapping shirts and catchphrases like crazy and its kinda tripping me out heheh. im so happy i got champ,
(i always want to call him chimp since he's a monkey..) he's so cute and his train theming reminds me of my beloved.. dreamy sigh. i really lucked out with all the cute villagers. now we just have to kick out peewee somehow. i try not to talk to him but sometimes he seems so excited that i feel bad LOL..

not very eventful today... i paid off the second house upgrade last night so my house is now a little bigger. i have basically no bells now lmao. champ is now completely moved in, and he asked for a new greeting. so of course i had him say a submas catchphrase... i am very predictable lol. he also wanted a new shirt so he got a bubble shirt.
had my first encounter with pascal, i dont even remember what he does but his randomness made me laugh. i miss this sort of thing in media in general. just random pointless shit happening for no other reason than the fun-ness of it. i didnt feel like playing much today overall. i slept badly and dont feel very good. the blogs will probably get shorter and shorter when theres less stuff to do. but in the future with more house upgrades i want to have a bunch of cool themed rooms.

wow a lot happened today in-game. i finished my summer college classes yesterday
(passed, thank god) so for now i can just focus on fun and enjoyable creative endeavors such as this game and website. well first off nook upgraded so we have a nice big nook store now! a lot more items to get. he was selling the matching kids room set so i bought both for a future retro/kiddy room. no music on sale sadly. i got a timer also, which ill probably never use but its good to have i guess.
i went to the city and got a
REAL painting. since i upgraded the mod to the newest version theres now a visual difference! he also had a super cool pink shelf with a bunch of nintendo consoles on it so i bought that too. went home and donated a ton of stuff to blathers. like the most ive donated ever lol, maybe 10 items? on my way there i found a genie lamp so we'll see the ghost guy later tonight!
puddles is finally healthy again, and she gave me a bonfire which was cewl. the last villager is moving in to make it 10 villagers total, and its champ! wow he is so adorable.. im very happy. my town is so cute.
(ignoring peewee.) id really like peewee to fuck off and then a mod-exclusive villager moves in. that would be awesome. but im ok with my town at the moment.
okay im writing this later and i just realized that champ literally has a train conductor identical twin brother... i got fucking submas monkey in my town. what the fuck. what the fuck!!!! THIS TOWN IS BLESSED.
afterwards, i saw the ghost guy and he gave me a ninja hood. i kinda wished i asked for a furniture item instead, but oh well. did a bunch of bug-hunting and fishing and paid off the second home payment. zzz.

today nook's was closed for renovation, which made the day kinda boring. I collected fossils and such like normal, and in the morning the boys of the town wanted to play hide and seek! i got kinda worried but it was actually easy and i cleared it really fast.. smirks smugly.
afterwards i visited brewster and sable. yesterday was prince's birthday so i wrote him a note, but he didnt reply with a "thanks for wishing me happy birthday", it was just a generic response? not sure what happened! :( but i wrote ruby a while ago and she sent me a cute note back~

not much else happened today, except i went to redd's for the first time and got scammed out of 20k bells lmao. pretty rough... but i'll live. this made me realize im actually playing the old version of deluxe that i downloaded a few months ago and not the latest version so i fixed that. i actually had a huge scare where i thought i corrupted my whole save but i fixed it, literally felt like i was gonna explode and die though. thank god for backup saves. puddles is
still sick somehow, but the scary swirls around her head are gone so i hope that means she'll be normal soon. im excited to see the new nook's store tomorrow as well!

today i got my big house yayy~ but its not that big actually. is it weird that my favorite house size is the first payment one? i like how its the same size as all the other villagers so it feels equal. anways, puddles is still sick. how? i gave her medicine yesterday... sadly, today i got stung by a bee while trying to find one for the museum so the one and only medicine being sold today got used on me. the turnips are selling for a low as shit price and nooks is also closed tomorrow. i really hope i dont end up selling at a loss.. does the second nook upgrade have the little boy racoons? I dont remember..
roald was my angel and wrote me an invitation to redds so i can start collecting paintings and such. redd creeps me out but i have to go to get the paintings.. i found a
nice checklist online to make museum completion easier. july is a nice time to start playing because it seems like nothing stops spawning at the end of july so theres no pressure to find specific things. sahara was also here and i got some nice wallpaper. both of the ones she gave me kinda have "grandma house" vibes lol. went to the city and met lyle. got a haircut that i hate a little less and the cute skunk guy made by shoes green so now my outfit matches~
when i was a kid, i thought kapp'n was charming and cute, but as an adult he is... quite creepy actually. why can i not escape old men being weird towards me even in a cute video game? its made worse because in new leaf he has a wife and kids, ew ew ew. atleast he's kinda charming when he isnt making weird comments about my character's love life. on the other hand, i like lyle a lot. his pathetic japanese/italian

today i paid my first home payment off~ tomorrow i will have a bigger home. very exciting! i also bought some turnips, including the red one. got a watering can to go with it. hopefully i wont forget to water it... watered it today.
puddles was sick :( i got her some medicine, i feel bad when villagers get sick. she is a cute phroggy and deserves to be healthy and happy forever.
i went to the city and got an ugly ass haircut. i shouldve gotten a haircut with longer bangs, i really dislike tiny short spock bangs like this. when i was in the city i also peoplewatched
(animalwatched?) the civillians there, i noticed a lot of villagers added in the deluxe mod..! i hope i can have one soon. i wish peewee would move out. he is so very ugly. today i also found out you can keep a pitfall seed buried in a corner of the town and they wont spawn in anymore as long as you avoid that specific corner. thats pretty smart~

city folk deluxe. its a mod that adds a ton of stuff to this game, including QOL adjustments
(like getting rid of the grass decay, thank god) and adding a ton of villagers from the new and old games?? very cool, ive never played animal crossing with any mods so im excited. since ive had this town for a year
(and totally forgot about it until today) i only have normal un-modded villagers wahh. i kinda hope somebody moves out soon so i can get a mod-exclusive villager soon lolol.
anyways it was also the bug-off day. to be honest i dont like this chameleon guy.
(although i like chameleons) he's creepy and clearly is eating all the bugs he's being given!!! why do i have to send my insect friends off to the slaughter!! it mean, it IS kinda funny,. but i like bugs and i want them to not be eaten please. also no i didnt win... i did find rare bugs but they were the only ones i had so i donated them instead of giving them to be eaten, which i felt like was the nice thing to do. i probably couldve found more but i fell asleep irl before the event ended. whoops.
the town was also very much full of weeds and clovers, so i cleaned all that up. it didnt take that long actually. i also found
FOUR four leaf clovers. im not sure how rare they actually are but thats pretty cool. i have my character wearing one in her hair and put the other in my house. apparently its good for the HRA rating.
also, i guess when i started this save i somehow didnt finish the tom nook tutorial..?? so i finished it now, and i also bought a shovel, net, and fishing rod. also, RUBY
(!!!) is moving in!! which is a crazy coincidence because she is one of my favorite villagers, so much so that i put a pixel of her on my index page. im really happy to have so many cute vllagers in my town..
<3 it motivates me to play more heheh. ok well thats all for today im going back to bedzzz.
